On-site laptop repair.
I come to you.

I’m Lou. Text me what’s going on — I’ll tell you if it’s worth fixing before I drive over.

You stay home Kitchen table, office desk, dining room. No drop-off shop.
One person Senior sysadmin, not a dispatched mill reading a script.
No inventory games I order the part for your machine after you approve it.

What I actually fix

Laptops first. PCs, Wi-Fi, and small-office IT too.

If it’s a $40 job or a paperweight, I’ll say so. Diagnostic is $49 on-site, waived if you hire me to do the work.

Won’t turn on / liquid damage

Power, charging, battery, boards. I’ll tell you repair vs replace before we spend money.

Slow, pop-ups, “a guy remote-accessed it”

Malware, OS rebuild, backups first. I don’t install scareware AV.

Screen, hinge, keyboard

Common laptop hardware. Parts quoted, then ordered. No junk drawer of leftover screens.

SSD / RAM upgrades

The “this thing is ancient” visit that usually isn’t. Clone the drive, you keep your stuff.

Home Wi-Fi & printers

Mesh, dead spots, “the internet is fine except in the back bedroom.”

Small business break/fix

On-site hourly. Not a 24/7 MSP. If you need that, I’ll say so.

About Lou

Louis Sweet. I live in DeBary.

I used to run Sweets PC Consulting out of this same stretch of Florida. Day job is senior Linux / systems work. Nights and weekends I still like fixing machines that people actually need.

Not a national dispatch mill. If I take the job, I’m the one who shows up.
